  For advance reservations, Sanctuary cannot accept bookings for less than 2 nights. However, if you are unable to alter your timetable, then please feel free to call us on the day to check availability for a one night stay.

Sanctuary is located on the top of a steep hill giving wonderful views. However, the steep terrain means that to make the most out of Sanctuary, intending guests should be reasonably fit and physically active.

Sanctuary regrets that we are unable to accommodate children under the age of 11 years old.

  
 
Arrival Details    
Please let us know how you will be arriving in Mission Beach and your expected time of arrival.
Please arrive at Sanctuary in daylight where possible, to enable you to get your bearings in the rainforest before it comes alive at night. You may arrive anytime after 9am. Your room will be available by 2 pm, though earlier if possible.
Last orders for the restaurant are taken at 8.00 pm (please telephone ahead if you plan to arrive after dark and wish to dine in the restaurant.)

If you are travelling by coach, please telephone with your bus arrival time at least one day prior so we know when to expect you.


Exemplar Coaches & Limousines operate a direct shuttle from Cairns and Cairns Airport at 1.30pm daily. It is important to book at least 48 hours in advance.


Alternatively the Greyhound or Premier coaches will arrive at Wongaling Beach (also know as Mission Beach Central) from here you will need to take a taxi to Sanctuary.


The Mission Beach taxi (Tel: 0429 689 366) can transfer you to Sanctuary from the Greyhound coach at a cost of approx $40.00. It is generally advisable to call them beforehand so they can meet you when the bus arrives.

Deposit Policy  
     
 

 To make your booking, a Credit Card deposit equal to the first nights accommodation is required. Sanctuary accepts Visa, American Express and JCB.

Please Note: For American Express and JCB a 2% surcharge applies.
If you don't have a valid credit card then please contact us to make alternative arrangements.

 Sanctuary's Booking Deposit Policy: For cancellations made more than 72 hours prior to the booked arrival date we will refund the deposit less an $22.00 dollar handling fee. For cancellations less than 72 hours to the arrival date, the deposit will be forfeited - unless the rooms are unsold with the deposit refunded, again less a $22.00 dollar handling fee.
